Focke-Wulf FW190 F-9 "Butcherbird", as flown by a Technical Officer for II/SG1, Munchen-Neubiberg, Germany, 1945. Regarded as one of the best fighter planes of World War II, it provided greater firepower than the Bf 109 and superior low to medium altitude manoeuvrability. The FW190 was superior to Allied fighters until the arrival of the Spitfire Mk. IX. Highly detailed model, with sliding cockpit and removable pilot figure. Comes with a display stand, and landing gear can be shown up or down. Approx. 18cm x 21.5cm (7" x 8.5")
