Holden VL Commodore #11 Group A SV, driven to 3rd place in the 1990 Tooheys Bathurst 1000 by Larry Perkins and Tomas Mezera. This was a quick car and by lap 134, Mezera had built a 40-second lead. Then bad luck kicked-in. The Safety Car system in place at the time included closing of the pit exit. Just as the #11 car pitted for fuel, tyres, brakes, and the final driver change, a Safety Car was triggered, and the pit exit was closed. The team were forced to wait until the exit reopened. Their lead had evaporated, but after 161 gruelling laps the #11 Commodore crossed the line in third place. Diecast model with some plastic parts. Highly detailed interior and exterior. Opening doors and bonnet. Accurate race-day decals and finish. Limited Edition of 828 and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
