  • 1/76 1940's AEC Matador Wrecker
    Associated Equipment Company (AEC) Matadors were originally built as artillery tractors in WW2. In post-war civilian life they were used in a variety of roles such as general commercial vehicles and wreckers. Their good off-road performance also saw them used in the forestry industry. Approx. 7.6cm x 2.5cm x 5.7cm (3" x 1" x 2.25"). Suitable to accompany OO Scale railway collections. Comes in an acrylic display case.

  • 1/76 1940's RN Matador
    Royal Navy Artillery AEC Matador Tractor. Large, lumbering, and low geared (with a maximum road speed of 28 mph), the Matador was unfazed by the heaviest load or muddiest field. It was one of the unsung automotive heroes of World War 2. This model is suitable to accompany OO Scale railway collections. Approx. 8.5cm long. Comes in an acrylic display case.

  • 1/76 1950's AEC Fire Engine
    London Fire Brigade Merryweather AEC Regent III Fire Engine. It could be operated with either a wheel escape ladder (large fires) or 35 ft extension ladder (smaller fires). Both of these options are included with the model. It was the first post war diesel fire engine and had the ability to pump 1000 gallons a minute from its midship pump. Beautifully detailed little model. Approx. 10cm x 3cm x 5cm (4" x 1.25" x 2"). Comes with an acrylic display case.

    Bedford OB MUA346 from the Great British Buses collection. Finished in the colours of Wallace Arnold Tours Limited, Leeds, Bradford, Scarborough. A beautiful little bus. Approx. 10cm x 3cm x 3.5cm (4" x 1.25" x 1.375"). Comes mounted on a plinth.

  • 1/76 1957 AEC Mercury TL
    AEC Mercury Turntable Ladder RFS 132 of the Edinburgh and SE Area Fire Brigade. The Mercury TL was produced from 1957 until the late 1960s. Almost 200 were built and over half of these came with extending Merryweather 100 ft ladders. A classic 50's monster, finished in traditional red and silver. Detailing includes Merryweather badging and the colourful South Eastern Fire Brigade crest, incorporating two Scottish thistles. Approx. 13cm x 3cm x 4cm (5" x 1.25" x 1.5").

    Thornycroft Nubian Major 6 x 6 Foam Tender XHU 593H. City of Bristol Lulsgate Airport. Carmichael & Sons 'Jetranger' 1700 appliance. Fire-fighting equipment included 7,000 litres of water and 700 litres of foam. The roof mounted monitor could deliver foam at the rate of 32,000 litres per minute.
