  • 1/48 1915 E.II Eindecker
    Fokker E.II Eindecker 69/15. Flown by Kurt von Crailsheim, FFA 53, Monthois, France, October 1915. The Eindecker was the first plane designed to shoot down other aircraft, and was also the first to feature a synchronised machine gun (which fired through the arc of the moving propeller). A brilliant looking model, that comes with a pilot figure, has a rotating prop, and fine rigging detail. Also comes with a display stand, and numbered Collector Card. Model approx. 15cm x 21cm x 5cm (6" x 8.25" x 2").

    Fokker DR.1 Triplane, flown by Wolfram von Richthofen on 21st April 1918. Wolfram unwittingly played a part in the death on this day of his famous cousin Manfred von Richthofen, the Red Baron.     Sopwith Camel F.1 D3326 of RAF No. 209 Squadron. Flown by Lieutenant Wilfred May when being chased by the famous Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen, on 21st April 1918. This event ultimately ended in the death of the Red Baron, who died from a single .303 bullet fired from the ground. Part of the Death of the Red Baron Special Edition.     JX-E 'Night Reaper' BE581, No. 1 Squadron RAF. As flown by Czech pilot Karel Kuttelwascher during night intruder missions. On May 4, 1942, Kuttelwascher shot down three He-111's. This fighter ace ended the war with 18 confirmed victories and two DFC's. Die-cast metal with some plastic parts. Metal propeller, opening canopy, and removable pilot figure.
