Albatros D.V, Jasta 23, D2263/17 of Otto Kissemberth. Described as brave and tenacious in the air, Kissemberth was one of the few who flew wearing spectacles. Commander of Royal Bavarian Jasta 23 at the beginning of August 1917, Kissenberth scored the majority of his 20 aerial victories in this aircraft. Distinctive because of its black fuselage and yellow and white Edelweiss emblems on either side of its fuselage. Highly detailed diecast model, with rotating propeller, pilot figure, and display stand. Approx. 14cm x 19cm (5.5" x 7.5").
