Dennis F8 Fire Engine of the Christchurch Fire Board. Powered by a Rolls Royce B60 4.25L six-cylinder petrol engine, its four-speed manual gearbox was operated from right to left. NZ F8’s typically carried a 200-gallon water tank and a 35-foot extension ladder. Diecast model, fittingly finished in fire engine red, with silver highlights, and black roof. Details include number plate DV 3445, New Zealand Fire Service crest, roof ladders, and rear-mounted Dennis water pump. Approx. 7.2cm x 2.5cm x 3.8cm. Comes mounted in an acrylic display case.
