  • 1/16 1956 Massey-Harris 50
    The Massey-Harris 50 was based on the Ferguson TO-35 and introduced after the merger that created Massey-Harris-Ferguson. It was also produced as the F-40 for Ferguson dealers. The 50 was available in several configurations: utility, high-crop utility, or row-crop with a choice of single, tricycle, or wide adjustable front ends. Powered by a Continental 4-cyl petrol engine (30.50 hp drawbar tested/32.58 hp belt tested). These diecast models are so good we'd like to keep them ourselves, but ...... it's only fair to share.     The French Ferguson (FF) 30 is almost identical to the TE 20, but, made in France. Only a few details like the seat and steering wheel are different.   • 1/18 1960 Lotus Elite
    Lotus Elite Race Car. The Elite used fibreglass monocoque construction, with a load-bearing body (i.e. no actual chassis). Steel sub-frames, attached to the monocoque, supported the engine, suspension, doors, roll-cage, etc. It's true "Sports Car" shape gave it a very low drag coefficient of 0.29. The Elite raced in various GT Championships around the world, as well as Le Mans and the Nurburgring. It won its class six times at the Le Mans 24 hour, as well as two Index of Thermal Efficiency wins. Model has opening doors, bonnet, and boot. Approx. 25cm x 7.5cm x 6.5cm (8" x 3" x 2.5").     The Caterham Seven is a super-lightweight sports car, based on the Lotus Seven which was produced from 1957 to 1972. Caterham now own the design rights and produce their re-worked version of the Series 3 Lotus Seven. Front-engined, rear wheel drive, and 6-speed manual box. Powered by 1.6L 4-cylinder Ford engines producing 135 to 145 horsepower, and weighing only 525 to 540 Kg, the power-to-weight ratio is monstrous and the acceleration outstanding.   • 1/200 1942 DC-3
    This Douglas DC-3/C-47 has had a long and interesting life. Constructed in 1942 as a C47-DL she was sent overseas in 1943. After the war she was purchased by a former WWII pilot and nicknamed “Betsy”. In 1946 she became Cathay Pacific Airways first ever aircraft, and registered as VR-HDB. After being sold in the 1950'she spent the best part of 30 years flying cargo in the Australian outback, before being discovered and repurchased by Cathay Pacific. VR-HDB was then repainted in a 1940s CPA scheme and now hangs in the Science Museum of Hong Kong. Metal diecast with some plastic parts. Rotating props. Landing gear can be displayed up or down.     The de Havilland Dragon Rapide was introduced in the 1930s as a passenger airliner. Shown here in British European Airways (BEA) livery. A twin engined aircraft with tapered wings and streamlined fairings, it proved to be fast and comfortable, and was a very successful commercial aircraft. The RAF used them for passenger and communications duties at the beginning of WW2 and, along with the Royal Navy, used slightly modified Rapides (known as Dominies) for radio and navigation training later in the war.     Heinkel He219 A0/R6, G9+FK, Uhu Ernst-Wilhelm Modrow. Top scoring He219 night fighter ace while posted with 2/Nachjagdgeschwader (2/NJG1) in the Netherlands, 1944. The Uhu ("Eagle-Owl") was a Luftwaffe night fighter that served in the later stages of WW II.   • 1/72 1940 Avro Anson Mk1
    British twin-engined aircraft as flown by Pilot Officer Peters, 500 Squadron, RAF Detling. Ansons served with the RAF, Fleet Air Arm and some Commonwealth Air Forces before, during and after WWII. Originally meant for maritime reconnaissance, but, was found to be more suitable as an aircrew trainer. It was used to train pilots for flying multi-engined bombers and also to train navigators, wireless operators, bomb aimers and air gunners. It entered service in 1936 and was finally retired from the RAF as late as 1968.
