British European Airways (BEA) De Havilland Dragon Rapide 1930s passenger airliner. A twin engined aircraft with tapered wings and streamlined fairings, which proved to be a very successful, fast and comfortable, commercial aircraft. Used by the RAF for passenger and communications duties at the start of WW2. A slightly modified version (Dominie) was used by the RAF and RN later in the war for radio and navigation training. A great wee, well detailed, model. Rotating props, and comes with a display stand. Approx. 14.5cm x 20cm (5.75" x 8").
