    Qantas Airways Boeing 707-338C VH-EAI "City of Darwin" c/n 19629-737. The name V-Jet was introduced by Qantas to promote the 707's turbofan engines. The "V" being derived from "vannus" a common Latin term for "fan". Served with QANTAS until 1975, then returned "home" to RAAF service from 1983 to 2007. Metal diecast model.     Boeing VC-25A, a military version of the Boeing 747 airliner. Operated by the USAF with the call sign "Air Force One", while transporting the president of the United States.     Boeing 747-267B MSN 21966. First delivered to Cathay Pacific in April 1980 as VR-HIA this aircraft served with another 4 airlines before joining Rolls-Royce North America as N787RR in June 2005.   • 1/200 1942 DC-3
    This Douglas DC-3/C-47 has had a long and interesting life. Constructed in 1942 as a C47-DL she was sent overseas in 1943. After the war she was purchased by a former WWII pilot and nicknamed “Betsy”. In 1946 she became Cathay Pacific Airways first ever aircraft, and registered as VR-HDB. After being sold in the 1950'she spent the best part of 30 years flying cargo in the Australian outback, before being discovered and repurchased by Cathay Pacific. VR-HDB was then repainted in a 1940s CPA scheme and now hangs in the Science Museum of Hong Kong. Metal diecast with some plastic parts. Rotating props. Landing gear can be displayed up or down.     British Airways Braniff Aerospatiale-BAC Concorde G-N94AE, c/n 212. Delivered to British Airways as G-BOAE in 1977. Reregistered as G-N94AE/N94AE for a joint venture with Braniff for flights between Washington-Dulles and Dallas-Fort Worth in 1979. Back to G-BOAE in 1980 when this ended.     Boeing 747-121 GE jet engine propulsion test platform. Operated by Pan American World Airways (Pan Am) as N744PA "Clipper Ocean Spray" from 1970 until 1991. As General Electric N747GE, this aircraft served as an airborne jet engine lab from 1992 to 2017.   • 1/72 1930s de Havilland Dragon Rapide BEA
    The de Havilland Dragon Rapide was introduced in the 1930s as a passenger airliner. Shown here in British European Airways (BEA) livery. A twin engined aircraft with tapered wings and streamlined fairings, it proved to be fast and comfortable, and was a very successful commercial aircraft. The RAF used them for passenger and communications duties at the beginning of WW2 and, along with the Royal Navy, used slightly modified Rapides (known as Dominies) for radio and navigation training later in the war. A great wee model. Rotating props, and comes with a display stand. Approx. 14.5cm x 20cm (5.75" x 8").
