RAF Jet Provost T.Mk 5, "The Swords" XW407. The BAC Jet Provost was a British jet-powered trainer that was in use with the RAF from 1955 to 1993. It was originally developed by Hunting Percival from the earlier piston engine-powered Percival Provost basic trainer, and later produced by the British Aircraft Corporation (BAC). The Jet Provost served in many air forces worldwide, including a more heavily-armed ground attack variant known as the BAC Strikemaster. Metal diecast with some plastic parts. Comes with display stand. Can be displayed with wheels up or down. Approx. 14cm x 14cm (5.5" x 5.5").
