Heinkel He-111H-6, W. Nr. 4500, A1+FN, Lt. Erich Horn, 5./KG53, Russia January 1942. Arguably the most famous Luftwaffe bomber of the Second World War. The He-111 had greater range than other Luftwaffe strike aircraft, and saw heavy use over the Eastern Front from 1942 onwards. Distinctive fully glazed nose, and detailed crew figures. Moving guns and rotating props. Undercarriage can be shown up or down. Approx. 23cm x 30.5 cm (9" x 12"). Comes with a Collector Card, detailing the history of the aircraft, and a display stand.
