Supermarine Spitfire Mk. VIII "Fargo Express" HL-K, Lt. Leland P. Molland, 308th FS, Italy 1944. The 308th was one of the 31st FG’s three Spitfire squadrons. On January 22, 1944 the 31st FG participated in the invasion at Anzio and in mid-March was involved in the push to capture Cassino. Diecast metal with a minimum of plastic. Metal propeller. Canopy slides open and pilot figure can be removed. Landing gear is fully retractable and can be displayed up or down. Comes with display stand.
