Supermarine Spitfire P9386, No. 19 Squadron, September 1940. The Spitfire was the only Allied fighter to serve from the beginning of WW II (Sept 1939), through to the end (Aug 1945). Spit's also saw service into the 1950s. The Mk.1A had 8 x 0.303" Browning machine guns, 300 rounds/gun, a bulged canopy, 3-blade prop, armored windscreen, and armor in front of and behind the pilot. A great die-cast metal model of this classic aircraft. Has rotating prop, opening cockpit, removable pilot figure, and comes with a display stand.
