Bristol Beaufighter TF.X NE829/PL-J, RAF No.144 Squadron, Banff Strike Wing, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, October 1944. The Beaufighter was one of the most capable, and arguably one of the best, twin engine aircraft of WWII. It served in almost all theatres of the war. Originally developed as a long range heavy fighter, the "Beau" could carry a great array of attack weaponry and it became a very successful multi-role aircraft. Including night fighter, fighter bomber, and torpedo bomber. Diecast metal model. Rotating props, and a variety of ordnance options. Approx. 18cm x 25cm (7" x 10"). Comes with a display stand. Landing gear can be shown up or down.
