Known as ‘Moonbeam McSwine’ due to its nose art of a ‘Li’l Abner’ comic character of the same name. Piloted by American James Forrest "Lou" Luma and navigator Colin Finlayson. The Mosquito FB Mk.VI fighter-bomber became the most numerous and widely-used Mosquito variant. Its speed and agility were backed-up by a formidable armament of four Browning 0.303" machine-guns in the nose and four Hispano 20 mm cannon in the belly.
