P-51D Mustang 414789 “Missouri Armada”, Captain John England 362nd FS, 357th FG, 1944. England got his pilot wings in 1943, and scored his first victory a year later. By the end of the war he was credited with 17.5 victories, which was the second highest for the 357th (just one behind Leonard K. "Kit" Carson). Die-cast metal model with a minimum of plastic. Rotating prop, cockpit canopy slides open, removable pilot figure. Comes with display stand. Landing gear can be posed up or down. Approx. 20cm x 23cm (8" x 9").
