Spitfire Mk.I “Battle of Britain” N3162/EB-G, flown by P/O Eric Lock, No. 41 Squadron, RAF Hornchurch, Essex, August/September 1940. With a max. speed of 353 mph, and armed with 8 x 0.303 inch Browning machine guns, Mk. I's bore the brunt of the Battle of Britain. Diecast metal model with some plastic parts. Approx. 18.5cm x 23.5cm (7.25" x 9.25"). Realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels and surface details. Opening canopy and rotating prop. Landing gear can be posed up or down. Comes with a display stand.
