North American Aviation P-51D Mustang flown by Captain Urban "Ben" Drew, 375th Fighter Squadron, 361st Fighter Group of the 8th USAAF. Reportedly shot down the first two Messerschmitt Me-262 jet fighters of WW2. The Mustang was a superb long range fighter and fighter-bomber used during WW2, the Korean War, and other conflicts. Metal diecast model with some plastic parts. Rotating prop, pilot figure, and comes with a display stand. Great looking model. Approx 13cm x 16cm (5.25" x 6.25").
