Beute Panzer (Trophy Tank). Captured Soviet 1943 T34/76 which saw service in the German army as turret No.222, Panzerjager Abteilung 128, 23rd Panzer Division, Eastern Front, Ukraine. Finished in field applied disruptive camouflage scheme. German armed forces were more than willing to use captured enemy tanks as their own. Especially when they could get their hands on the extremely mobile, well armoured, well gunned Soviet T-34. The Germans were so impressed with the T-34 that they considered building them themselves using Soviet tank factories captured by Wehrmacht troops. Approx. 13cm x 6cm (5.25” x 2.5”).
