    Associated Equipment Company (AEC) Matadors were originally built as artillery tractors in WW2. In post-war civilian life they were used in a variety of roles such as general commercial vehicles and wreckers. Their good off-road performance also saw them used in the forestry industry.     AEC Mercury Turntable Ladder RFS 132 of the Edinburgh and SE Area Fire Brigade. The Mercury TL was produced from 1957 until the late 1960s. Almost 200 were built and over half of these came with extending Merryweather 100 ft ladders. A classic 50's monster, finished in traditional red and silver.
